“Building Better Teams (Part 1): A Leader’s Impact on Group Development”

For teams to be effective, the people in the team must be able to work together to contribute collectively to outcomes…but this does not happen automatically: it develops as the team works together. This process of learning to work together effectively is known as team development. Research has shown that teams go through definitive stages during development (not necessarily linearly).  While not always comfortable, each stage plays a vital part in building a high-functioning team, capable of elevated collaboration and achievement.  Through this group-to-team development process, you begin to operate as a team instead of a collection of individuals.

After participating in this virtual training, leaders will:

  1. Understand the 5 stages of team development
  2. Identifying where their team is now
  3. Identify strategies they can deploy now to lead teams through the 5 phases of development to success

“Promoting Mental Health:
In the workplace – For the workforce”
60 Minute Virtual Training
$500 per organization (not-for-profit discounts available upon request)

According to the World Health Organization, a healthy workplace can be described as one where workers and managers actively contribute to the working environment by promoting and protecting the health, safety and well-being of all employees. The workplace can be a key location for activities designed to improve well-being among adults. Workplaces that promote mental health and support their people are more likely to reduce absenteeism, increase productivity and benefit from associated economic gains.  In this one hour presentation, participants will learn to identify the risk factors that may be present in their work environment, and will learn various strategies that they can deploy to embrace and support a mentally healthy workforce.

After participating in this virtual training, leaders will be able to:

  1. Identify risk factors for increased mental distress (specifically chronic stress, compassion fatigue and disengagement) in the workplace
  2. Identify indicators (signs and symptoms) of a mentally distressed workforce
  3. Pinpoint strategies that can be deployed at the organization to improve well-being and support team (and self)

Other virtual training sessions are available – schedule a complimentary consultation to discuss subjects, fees and availability for your group!
